About the Recipe
Matcha is a superstar of nutrition protocols. Its potent anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties support natural detoxification in a significant way. Matcha has ten times the vitamin C, five times the chlorophyll, and up to 138 times the antioxidants of green tea. Antioxidants protect cells from free radical damage, implicated in many disease processes.
Matcha also has half the caffeine of coffee. Due to the addition of l-theanine in matcha, the caffeine metabolizes more slowly, offering an energy boost without the jitters and crash of coffee. RASA, Jade Leaf, Enche, and Matcha Kari are good quality organic brands. It's a daily habit with loads of health benefits!

Ingredients
1/2 tsp organic ceremonial grade matcha
1 tsp cacao powder
1/2 tsp manuka honey or a few drops of stevia
1 cup milk of choice
1/2 tsp vanilla paste
1 scoop of collagen powder
Sprinkle of cinnamon or cacao on top
Optional: 1/2 teaspoon of mushrooms, such as reishi for relaxation and immune support, to add additional adaptogen support.
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a blender or frother. Use warm milk for a hot drink, or cold for an iced latte. I love to use a frother because it not only mixes all the ingredients well, but you can choose the temperature you want your drink to be, hot or cold.
Step 2
Sit somewhere with your toes in the grass to ground yourself, face the sky, take a few deep breaths, and admire the beauty around and within you.
You deserve a moment of self-care, with love.
