Nutrition Consultation

Are you curious if your current diet and lifestyle are driving some of your unwanted symptoms and affecting your health? I help clients optimize their diet and lifestyle to reach their personal wellness goals and support balanced mood, energy, and improved health.

Initial Consultation

This session provides the basis of our collaborative work to nurture and support your health through balanced nutrition and wellness strategies. The Initial Nutrition Consultation consists of a 1.5-hour session to review your health concerns and goals for our work together. I will ask questions and listen to better understand your health history, stress levels, activity levels, and dietary intake to create a health protocol customized to your wellness goals.

 

I will work together in partnership and collaboration with you to support and empower you on your path toward wellness in a manner that also honors your biochemical uniqueness, values, and personal goals.

 

After the Initial Consultation

Following the Initial Consultation, a 3-Day Diet Record is typically recommended to better assess your current nutritional patterns and guide which direction will be supportive for you. We will personalize this for you in our first session together. After you complete and return your diet record, we will schedule an "Initial Follow-Up Nutritional Consultation" to review dietary, lifestyle, and supplemental recommendations to support your health goals, typically within two to four weeks following the Initial Nutrition Consultation.

Timeframe

For most people, our current health problems didn't develop all at once, even though new symptoms may suddenly appear. It also takes time to build better nutrition and wellness habits to see positive changes in our health. I recommend working on nutrition and lifestyle habits over time to provide a supportive structure for personalized growth. This can help reduce feelings of overwhelm with new information and allow time to develop and adjust to new habits.

 

While personal needs may vary, as a rule of thumb, working together for two to six months with ongoing support as needed helps establish strong nutrition and lifestyle foundations.

• Diet, lifestyle, and nutrition evaluation;

• Personalized dietary guidance based on your health goals, lifestyle, and environment;

• Meal planning, recipes, and shopping tips to support your desired lifestyle changes;

• Specialized functional assessments to help get to the root of your symptoms;

• Guide you through detoxification programs as needed;

• Recommend personalized nutritional supplements as needed;

• Recommend supportive stress management techniques.
